Due to the number of people that are traveling out of town, are sick, or are unable to attend, we will not have our January Dance this Saturday. Sorry!
See you in February!

Best Ball Ever!!!
What an amazing event we had to end the 2014 year of dancing and fellowship! With nearly 70 guests in attendance, we celebrated this year's Christmas season with a night full of dancing, food, fun, and fellowship.
When the doors opened at 6:00 p.m., each guest was heralded with a formal introduction as they arrived, then were escorted to the fireplace to have their portrait taken. By 6:45 we had started the Grand March and the party was on! (Pictures to come soon)
Many thanks to all those who have made 2014 the best Troubadour year yet! Looking forward to a fantastic 2015! Let's see what God has in store!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!!

Christmas Ball Update
Almost...
Are you excited yet? Our 2014 Christmas Ball is nearly here, and preparations are in full swing for the event of the year!
As of right now the weather does not appear to be an issue for us this weekend (phew!). We will keep a close watch on things and let people know if anything changes.
To answer a question that we have come across several times this year: you do not have to receive a formal invitation in order to attend the Ball. If you heard about us from your sister's best friend's cousin, you are more than welcome to join us! We do expect that all guests abide by the modesty guidelines outlined in the invitation and on our website, that all guests are over the age of 13, and each guest should act as a lady or gentleman by showing respect towards their fellow guests.
We are looking forward to meeting many new people and strengthening old friendships! See you Saturday!

November Dance & October's Review
My, how time flies! We are already approaching November and with its arrival comes the first Saturday and dancing! :-) The Troubadour Dance for this month will be on November 2nd, at 6:00 p.m. at the Centralia Community Room.
Last month we were excited to see old friends and meet some new ones! The Troubadours would like to send out a warm welcome to all of our new dancers! After overcoming a number of missing dance music selections we had great fun dancing some old favorites while teaching some new dancers. We found out just how good our dancers are as they learned to adjust to different music with several of the dances. Good job guys!
The etiquette workshop was a great success as we addressed some of the questions that many of our new dancers ask and polished up some steps that our more experienced dancers wanted to work on. Thank you to all for being great students! :-)

September Dance
What a wonderful time we had!!
His Lordship's Troubadours held our first dance of the fall last Saturday and what fun it was! We got to see old friends and become better acquainted with others . The potluck was delicious and the dancing was lively indeed!
After getting the blood flowing with some familiar dances like the Virginia Reel and Progressive Gordon, we learned some new ones such as the Schottishe. We even brushed the cobwebs off some old classics as we danced to the Flowers of Edinburgh and Gotham Jubilee.
As the joyous evening reluctantly drew to a close, everyone danced goodbye to the beautiful strains of our beloved Duke of Kent's Waltz.
As you can tell, a good time was had by all and we look forward to seeing many new faces and more good times in the coming year!
Au revoir! Until we meet again!
